About Me

As the Integrated Midwife, I bring together my career as a registered and clinical midwife with over 25 years of experience as a holistic practitioner.

Being the eldest of six, I was immersed in caring for babies and children from a young age: nappies, breastfeeds, bottles, bedtimes, the lot. Becoming a midwife was always my calling, but it wasn’t until I turned 30 that I followed that deep inner pull into the profession.

Over the past almost two decades, I’ve worked across both the public and private sectors, including at a large tertiary maternity hospital. As an endorsed private practice midwife, I have worked within leading midwifery and obstetric practices in Brisbane and my own private practice since January 2022, offering continuity of care tailored to women and families.

Before midwifery, I lived and breathed natural health. I managed health food stores in the UK and Sydney, cooked in a vegan and macrobiotic commercial kitchen, and trained as a massage therapist specialising in trauma-release bodywork. This foundation continues to inform my practice today.

My diverse background means I don’t only provide clinical midwifery care (although I absolutely provide this when needed) I also weave in nutritional and supplemental guidance, use hands-on techniques when needed, and offer holistic counselling support.

For me, midwifery is an honour. To walk beside women during their most powerful rite of passage, to hold their hand as they move through self-doubt into strength, and to witness the moment they first meet their baby. This is the heart of my work.
